Tonfisk Warm Wood Cups

You don't see much wood in housewares these days, except for salad bowls. I love these cups and the matching tea set, from Finnish company Tonfisk. The veneer base gives them a soft touch and doesn't transfer as much heat as ceramic. Even better, the raised edge keeps the base of the cup off the table surface, so you don't need a coaster. The wood holder slides off so it doesn't go through the dishwasher (the traditional nemesis of wood housewares).
$50 for the pair, which isn't too bad. Several of our friends have almost got these as gifts.
From the always cool Composition.

I received a notice from freebiz pertaing to the aluminum product. I am in the construction industry and for years I have researching and compiling data mental construct towards "Alternative Building Methods and Materials". I personally have a vast data bank in my head towards the subject. What are your intentions for the product beyond furniture? If I had a small sample it would help. I like the idea of the 4 x 8 sheets - can you get it larger and I also need to know strengths and etc.. your thought , not the manufacturer.
Thank You,
